It’s Year of the Dog – Time to End Dog Meat!
This Chinese New Year — February 16 — we enter the year of the dog. Let’s make it count by banning dog and cat meat in China!

In this horrifying industry, dogs are kidnapped from families who love them and trucked to slaughterhouses and meat markets to be beaten, sliced and boiled alive.

 

But there is hope: brave rescuers are saving dogs and cats from slaughter and giving them the care they desperately need. And with your support, Lady Freethinker (LFT) is helping their efforts. Will you please donate to help us provide for these dogs and cats?
Right now, we are providing badly needed resources, like food and heating, to Chinese shelters saving dogs and cats from the cruel meat trade. Dogs like this sweet pup, who was slated to die at a dog meat restaurant but is now in loving hands:
